Mindfulness - controlling your own happiness


Since I am a control freak with high expectations on life as well as on myself I have had lots of stress in my life and my mood is extremely fluctuating I have now started with Mindfulness. It is a combination of thinking exercises and breathing exercises and focuses on controlling your own thoughts and leaving in the moment instead of stressing out about the past and the future.
I will do the exercises everyday for 2 months (8 weeks) around 20 minutes daily and once a week I will attend a group exercise with leaders. I have now done this for 1 week and found that it is hard to find the time and the focus, but I hope it will work for me to make me more calm and make me enjoy life more!
